LOADING HIGH TIDE OUTLOOK…
An indicative guide only — not an official warning. For each of the next four high tides it combines the predicted high-water height with the small lift from low air pressure (roughly 1cm per hPa below normal), plus onshore wind (south-easterly to south-westerly, which pushes water into St Aubin's Bay and St Clement) and wave height at that time. A big tide on its own is usually fine; the risk climbs when several of these line up. Thresholds are approximate and for guidance. Always follow official Jersey Met and gov.je tide warnings, and call 999 in an emergency.
